Ruta 40

"On a long road, infinite
Exile, radio, sun unfinished
Souvenir floating into pieces
It's getting hard to think straight
And i wonder endlessly"

As a dream the “Ruta 40” opens its veins for us, a road trip.
The infinitely small in the infinitely large, or lets say, the infinite nothing.

Before reaching Salta, small Andean city in north Argentina, I even ignored its very existence.
There is the mythical and legendary U.S Route 66, well, here is the beauty of South America. The Ruta 40 is one of the longest in the world, it crosses Argentina from north to south, alongside the Andes Mountains. It covers about 5000 km, through 20 national parks, 18 major rivers, 27 passes on the Andes and culminates at 4895 meters.
Travelling only a few hundred kilometers on this road was already an experience, a leak for infinite wishes.
