Cuba, Havana, those are dream words for such an island, with its beauty and historical background. It's true indeed, a unique place, where the iconic figures of Fidel Castro and Che Guevara still live. On the other hand the real situation also well known, dictatorship, isolation, economic oppression, poverty exists and takes a major part in the story.
A literal step into the past, a country disconnected from the world with a lack of everything, forcing people, about 11 million without counting the diaspora ... to invent ways to survive. There is an unimaginable creativity and generosity amongst its people.
A population that is highly educated, far ahead of all Latin American countries. Cuba invests more in education than any other country on the continent. The real strength and beauty of Cuba is it's people.
